Name: Female (Ellen Ann) Taylor?Birth: Dec 1838 - Elham, Kent 1841 census ELLEN TAYLOR 2 South & East Kent - parish/towns H - N 1851 census ELLEN TAYLOR 11 Elham, Folkstone 1861 census see below. 1871 census Her father was Thomas Taylor who lived in French House. Lympne. Profession, ag labourer, green grocer, beer seller, corn victular. Was not buried at Lympne.1881 census, Occ. general labourer, lived @ 38 Claredon St.Hougham,Kent, with wife and grandson Frederick Taylor(7 years). Not found on the 1891 census.

1861 census research, I found is Ellen Taylor, visiting James & May Kingsland, Mary Kinglands was born in Smeeth. James is a corn dealer. Thomas Taylor was a corn dealer in 1871. The Kingslands had both died before the 1881 census. Did Thomasta ke over the business? Could May be Martha Tibbles, born Dec 1808, sister of Mary Tibbles & the wife of Thomas Taylor who came from Smeeth. That certainly fits and it would also explain Ellen being there in 1861. Could the Kinglands have been ill and Ellen was caringf or them both, it would also explain a lot and how Thomas became a corn dealer or corn factor. I do not know what happened to Ellen but this is the only Ellen in the 1881 census that fits her or did she die too.
